Inspired by the beauty of nature and garden, this class focuses on learning the process of eco-printing and creating a hand designed and dyed wearable of your own making!
We will spend some time foraging for a variety of plants and will then learn the process of contact printing. Participants will create and take home an eco-printed 100% cotton bandana by the end of this class. Instructor will provide all materials and supplies.
10am-4pm
You will learn all about scouring and mordanting materials as well as foraging for plants that work well for eco-printing. We will make a group print together so that you can experience the process. Then you will make your own eco-printed bandana to take home. You will also walk away with the knowledge to eco-print your own items in the future!
Supply fee: $20 dye materials, and pre-mordanted cotton bandana
